1. Who we are
This website is operated by MX4+2N Management Inc. ("we", "us", "our"), a consulting business operating at popke.ca.

2. What this policy covers
This policy explains what personal information we collect through popke.ca, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It also explains, in section 5, how our private QuickBooks Online integration handles financial data, because that integration is subject to Intuit's requirements.
We are a Canadian business and we handle personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation.
3. Information we collect
When you visit the site. Our hosting and content delivery providers automatically record standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view and the time of your visit. This is used to keep the site running and secure. We do not use it to identify you personally.
When you book a call. Our scheduling link is provided by a third party scheduling service. If you book a call you provide your name, your email address and any details you choose to include in the booking notes. That information goes to the scheduling provider and to us.
When you contact us directly. If you email us or connect with us on LinkedIn, we receive whatever information you choose to send.
We do not operate accounts, logins, e-commerce or newsletters on this site, and we do not ask you to create a password.
4. How we use information
We use the information above only to:
- respond to you and hold the meeting you booked
- deliver and administer consulting services you have engaged us for
- keep the website operating, secure and free of abuse
- meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent, trade or share it for anyone else's marketing purposes. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.
5. The QuickBooks Online integration
We operate a private integration with QuickBooks Online. This section describes it in detail because Intuit requires it, and because it is the only part of our operations that touches accounting data through an API.
It is used solely by us, on our own company's books. The integration is not a product, it is not offered to customers or to the public, and it has no users other than our own personnel. It connects to a single QuickBooks Online company file that we own and control.
What it accesses. Standard accounting records within our own QuickBooks company file, including invoices, bills, vendors, customers, items and company information. It has read and write access to that company file.
Whose data this is. The records involved are our own business records. Where those records contain information about a client, a contractor or a supplier, that information was provided to us in the ordinary course of doing business with them and is handled under this policy like any other information we hold.
Where the data goes. Data retrieved through the integration is processed on company-controlled devices. It is not published, not uploaded to any public service, and not shared with, sold to, or transmitted to any third party. The credentials that authorize the connection are stored on a company-controlled device and are not placed on shared or publicly reachable infrastructure.
What it does not do. It does not access any QuickBooks company other than our own. It does not access other Intuit customers' data. It does not send data to advertising, analytics or marketing platforms.
Ending the connection. The connection can be revoked at any time from within QuickBooks Online, under the connected apps settings. Revoking it immediately stops all further access.
6. Sharing and disclosure
We share personal information only:
- with service providers who operate parts of our business on our behalf, such as our website host, our scheduling provider and our accounting software, and only to the extent they need it to perform that service
- when you have asked us to, or have consented
- when required by law, regulation, court order or a lawful request from a public authority
7. Third party services
The site and our operations rely on third parties who process information under their own privacy policies, including our website host and content delivery network, our scheduling provider and Intuit for QuickBooks Online. Links from our site to external services, including LinkedIn, are governed by those services' own policies rather than this one.
8. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described above, or as long as we are required to keep it for legal, tax and accounting reasons. Business and financial records are retained for the periods required by Canadian tax law. When information is no longer needed we delete it or render it anonymous.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including access controls, encrypted connections and restricting credentials to company-controlled devices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to:
- confirm whether we hold personal information about you, and access it
- correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
- withdraw a consent you previously gave, subject to legal and contractual limits
- delete information we no longer have a legitimate reason to keep

11. Children
This site is directed at businesses and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
